Here is a short video by Vinny O’Hare as he walked around the Cranford Rose Garden in the heart of Brooklyn. New York City is actually the home to several beautiful gardens and parks, one in each borough. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden gets visitors from around the world, and this video shows why.

In above the roses, the garden had a very big visitor, a Red-tailed Hawk! Here is another short video of the hawk flying over the garden:
Beautiful cardinal in a tree on the upper level of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. He stuck around for a short time, my grandson was trying to get a photo and by the time we got him moved, the cardinal flew away. In the background you can hear the sound of maintenance being done in the garden. Video was shot in early May 2010.

Highland Park is known worldwide for it’s large number of varieties of lilacs and people come from around the world for the annual Lilac Festival in May every year.
